Care and feeding of your new cutting board

Thank you for the purchase of your new cutting/cheese serving board. We designed it to give you many many years of service. With just a few steps on your part, you can help to assure it does. First, never submerse your board in water, or put it in your dish washer. When necessary, simply wash with warm soapy water and immediately dry thoroughly. When the board appears to have faded, or lost some of its shine, recoat with mineral oil. Apply a very wet, even coat to one surface and the four edges. Allow to penetrate for several minutes, 10 - 30. Wipe lightly with a clean cloth, turn the board over and repeat on the remaining surface. Remember, what ever you do to one side of a piece of wood, you must do to the other.
